About Lutheran Service Society
Celebrating over 100 years of service, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit provider of human services that empowers our neighbors to lead independent, dignified, and secure lives. To accomplish our mission, we maintain adoption and foster care services, Meals On Wheels services and nutritional programs, affordable housing opportunities, and programming for older adults in western Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. We also seek to develop new programs that will address unmet needs in the communities we serve and to identify opportunities to expand our work into new communities.
