David and Karen
David, 51, and Karen, 48, would like to offer stability, permanency, love, and dedication to a female Caucasian child between the ages of 6 and 8 years old, or to a sibling group between the ages of 4 and 12. They would prefer that the child(ren) be as healthy as possible.
David is compassionate, loving, hard working, and understanding. He enjoys yard work, carpentry, and reading. Karen is nurturing, loving, organized, and optimistic. She enjoys cooking and reading. Both are employed in the banking industry, but at different institutions.
David and Karen are high school sweethearts that are committed to their marriage and their family. They have a loving and supportive relationship and feel prepared to extend their family to a child. David and Karen have a large extended family and enjoy being involved in the lives of their nieces and nephews.
David and Karen live in a suburban residential neighborhood. They have welcomed exchange students into their home many times, and are involved in their community's mentoring program. They share their home with two cats: McKenzi and Neko.
