Mayor Helps Long-time Volunteers Celebrate Retirement

On Friday, July 15 the mayor of Carnegie joined staff and volunteers from Lutheran Service Society's Meals On Wheels kitchen in Carnegie to recognize Bob and Linda Roth for their volunteer service. Bob and Linda retired after 18 years of volunteering with Meals On Wheels in Carnegie, and the mayor thanked them with an official proclamation. Bob and Linda, who are moving out of the area, say that they enjoyed the volunteer experience and working with everyone at the kitchen. Carnegie mayor Jack Kobistek is a dedicated advocate for Meals On Wheels, and he took time out of his busy day to help celebrate Bob and Linda's wonderful work.
