Which version of a program is running on your computer?

Follow These Simple Steps to Find Out!

  1. Open the program.
  2. Select Help on the menu bar.
  3. Select About (Program Name) from the drop-down menu.

For example, if you want to know which version of Internet Explorer is running on your computer, you should:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Select Help on the menu bar.
  3. Select About Internet Explorer from the drop-down menu.

These actions will cause a window to open that contains information on the version of Internet Explorer you are currently using.
