We Screen So You Don't Have To

We can tell you more about our graduates than you probably know about most of your employees:

  • All participants are tested for TB and drug use prior to enrollment.
  • Act 34 (criminal background check) conducted on all participants.
  • Students meet weekly with staff to monitor progress and work on overcoming barriers to employment.
  • In addition to food service training, students receive employment skills training -- from time management to dealing with conflicts at work.
  • The program is a rigorous, full-time commitment for students.
  • Core competencies have been demonstrated and evaluated through intensive classroom and on-the-job training and experience.

 

Internship Placement Available

We will work with you to establish internships at your place of business, where our Phase 3 (most advanced) students can be placed 1-2 days/week.  This gives our students a chance to experience different kinds of kitchens, and gives you an opportunity to meet our students prior to making any hiring decision. This has proven to be a win-win for both our students and our employer-partners.
