Springboard Kitchens
Springboard Kitchens is a job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals. Through fresh, healthy contract meals prepared daily in our kitchen for schools, senior homes, shelters, and nonprofit agencies, we help people transform their lives through training, support, and job placement. Agencies that need meal service can contract with us for quality meals at competitive prices-every dollar of which will directly support people's transition from being homeless and unemployed to being a stable wage earner, from being a recipient to a participant.
Springboard Kitchens is based on the very successful program, FareStart (Seattle, Washington), which is now replicated in cities across the country through assistance from FareStart's nonprofit consulting arm, Kitchens with Mission. Springboard Kitchens is pleased to be part of the Kitchens with Mission national network, from which we get support, new ideas and innovations, and best practices.
